We decided to cross the Golden Gate Bridge and get lost on Pacific Highway. We drove along the winding coast until I almost puked from carsickness, but then rounded the corner to see the beautiful Stinson Beach. We pulled up to the beach and both babes were asleep and we weren't about to give up that golden opportunity. You know you're a parent when you drive an hour to go to the beach but decide taking a nap in the car with your sleeping kids is a pretty sweet idea. And it was wonderful.
We did eventually make it to the beach so we wouldn't feel bad about driving all the way out there. Oh, and don't believe those people in the photos wearing bathing suits. They're cray cray. It was freezing. But Munchkin loved the sand and would eat it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. She was full of pure, childhood joy, which always makes a parent smile. I literally had to drag her back to the car (last photo). I'm glad we made it out of the parking lot after all!

It's a little warmer than SF beaches, and the drive is pretty
