diy fabric alphabet
I saw these fabric letters on Pinterest and finally got around to making them. I love how they turned out and can't wait for my girls to start playing with them. I wish I could give a step-by-step tutorial, but I totally forgot to take pictures. Here are the basics:
1. Lay a piece of white felt in between two pieces of fabric (ugly sides facing in).
2. Cut out the letter shape.
3. Sew around the edges leaving an open, raw edge. Nothing fancy.

DIY burp cloths
I got this burp cloth idea on Pinterest and think they are genius. They're cloth diapers with a strip of cute fabric; they're huge, absorbing, and I will no longer be wearing spitup all over my clothes. My sewing machine saves the day again.

pinterest comes to life
Pinterest is quite addicting; I can spend hours pinning pretty things if I'm not careful. But what good do all of those pins do if I never actually use them? So I've compiled all of the Pinterest projects I've actually done in real life. My version is on the left, Pinterest is on the right.
