We only had half a day to do Florence so it was kind of a blitz tour, but we did it all. We saw Johnny's man crush, the David; my favorite painting of all time, Botticelli's "Birth of Venus;" the Duomo; the outdoor market; the famous gold bridge; and I had three gelatos. I seriously don't understand how I'm gaining weight on this trip because we walked so stinking much (maybe I missed the part about having three gelatos in one day?). But seriously, I bet we walked like 5-10 miles every day.

we went to europe: tuscany & florence
Tuscany! We couldn't stay in Florence because of our car so we found a B&B in Tuscany--why would anyone ever stay in Florence?! It had everything--vineyards, pool, rolling hills, charm, sunset dinner--and it cost less than anything in the city. It was a win win all around.
