^^ Freeeee days (again, you gotta say it like Oprah) are the best! Free museum day on Tuesdays and free zoo day on Wednesdays make it a great week for everyone. ^^
^^ We chose the de Young Museum this time and Munchkin actually loved it. I'm not kidding. I think my evil plan to brainwash my children into becoming art history majors is working. She stared at this piece of art ^ for TEN MINUTES. In kid time that's like, what, two hours? Every time I tried to move on she was like, "Wait!" And it's not even a great piece; it's actually kind of creepy. ^^
^^ The next day we headed to the zoo where chasing the peacock was lots of fun. ^^
^^ FAVORITE PICTURE! Munchkin insisted on bringing her beloved stuffed animal, Koala, to the zoo (and pretty much everywhere else we go). When we got to the koalas she held him up and excitedly said, "Look, Koala, it's you!" She'd been waiting the whole time just for this moment! ^^
