^^ We went on many-a-Utah adventure while there for the summer break, and one of my dreams has been to go to the Spiral Jetty. For 10 years, ever since AP Art History, I have been dying to go, but it is literally in the middle of nowhere and we never made the time...until now! ^^
^^ The Golden Spike is on the way so of course we stopped. And don't mind the baby in a diaper. It was so freaking hot. ^^
^^ There she is! The Spiral Jetty and I finally met face-to-face instead of via textbook. And she is wonderful. You can't see or hear anything manmade for as far as the eye and ear go and it's a really quiet, very spiritual atmosphere. I would have loved to stay for hours but, kids, sometimes they ruin everything even though they make everything great. I mean it took us 30 minutes just to get to the salt because the sand and rocks were calling to these little city girls. ^^
