goodbye, utah

Well, we spent our last week in Utah (sniff, sniff). We went to the Music and the Spoken Word for their Independence Day performance on Sunday. I cried my eyes out. I love patriotic songs, and combine that with hormones and moving emotions...oh, boy.

My family also threw us an early Fourth of July party (my almost-favorite holiday) with my favorite food in the world: Costco polish dogs. I have classy tastebuds, I know. It was a great way to end the summer, because as Mark Twain said, "The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco."

  1. Well CA is so glad to have you! Can't wait to get together soon.

We actually still miss Utah a lot and aren't even from there or have family. But with such a fun place to visit as San Francisco I'm sure your family will visit often. Hope the unpacking is going well.
