Every September Johnny has to put up with my countdown until the Utah State Fair. I should start using an advent calendar for the occasion--that's how excited I get about it. I love petting the animals, oohing over giant vegetables, riding the ferris wheel, and eating carnie food.One year there was even a "freak show" (I HATE that term, but I'm not sure what else to call it--the unusual people and animal exhibit?). My only gripe about the fair is that you have to spend money to get in, only just to pay more money for everything else? That doesn't make sense. Oh, well. They can continue ripping me off because I will still go every year. Fall just wouldn't be the same without it.

I'm so jealous! I love the fair and was dying to go but I swell like crazy from walking so I had to miss it this year :(
ReplyDeleteBaby girl looks like she is really enjoying herself. I love the fair, too. We would go to the ice cream place for all you can eat for a price. We loved to do that with the Liddells.
